About
Dog Lake Campground provides a peaceful lakeside camping experience on the southern shore of Dog Lake within the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. Located at 4,200 feet elevation along Highway 12, the campground serves as an excellent base for fishing, day hiking, and backpacking in the surrounding wilderness. The campground is managed by White Pass Company and operates seasonally, typically from late spring through mid-October. Sites are available first-come, first-served with no advance reservations. Campers should note that no potable water is available on-site, so bringing adequate drinking water is essential. The campground features vault toilets and ADA-accessible sites. Due to limited turning radius on interior campground roads, the facility can accommodate trailers up to 20 feet and motorhomes up to 24 feet. Horses and pack animals are not permitted at the trailhead within camp units. Each site includes standard amenities, and additional vehicle fees apply. The campground provides convenient access to Dog Lake for fishing and serves as a trailhead for day hiking and backpacking adventures.
Directions
From Naches, WA travel west on Highway 12 for 36.6 miles. Campground entrance is on right (north) side of highway.
