No fee primitive backcountry cabin open on a first-come, first-served basis. No reservations. No water or restroom facilities available. Visitors must be self-sufficient and prepared for backcountry conditions. Access may be limited by snow during winter months.

Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Deep moisture will continue to support thunderstorms with heavy rainfall across the watch area through Monday evening, particularly during the afternoon and evening. White Mountain Cabin is a historic structure that once served administrative purposes in the Manti-La Sal National Forest. Located in Sevier County, Utah at approximately 9,500 feet elevation, the cabin sits among conifers and aspen groves on the Wasatch Plateau. The cabin now functions as a primitive backcountry shelter for hikers, hunters, and search and rescue operations. There are no developed amenities at this site. No potable water is available, and visitors must bring all necessary supplies including water and pack out all trash. There are no restroom facilities on site. This is a no-fee, first-come-first-served backcountry facility that cannot be reserved. The cabin provides basic shelter but visitors should be prepared for primitive conditions and self-sufficient backcountry travel.
