About

Millsite State Park is a year-round camping destination centered around Millsite Reservoir in Emery County, Utah. The campground offers about 20 sites with varying hookup configurations: sites A, B, and 1-10 feature both electric and water hookups, while sites 11-20 have electric-only hookups. All sites include level parking areas, picnic tables, and fire pits suitable for tent camping alongside RVs. The reservoir, completed in 1970, is surrounded by tan sandstone cliffs and offers excellent fishing opportunities for rainbow and cutthroat trout. The park includes a boat ramp, mooring buoys, and a swim beach for water recreation. An 18-hole golf course wraps around the eastern edge of the reservoir, featuring a notable hole adjacent to a waterfall that channels outflow from the reservoir. Nearby Ferron Canyon provides extensive off-highway vehicle and mountain biking trail systems for backcountry exploration. The park operates first-come, first-served during winter months, with advance reservations available through Reserve America during the main season. Modern restrooms and showers close seasonally, with vault toilets available year-round near the boat ramp parking area.
