About
Millsite State Park campground occupies a scenic location at 6,100 feet elevation on the south shore of Millsite Reservoir, approximately four miles west of Ferron, Utah. The 435-acre reservoir provides year-round fishing opportunities for rainbow trout, and the campground serves as a convenient launching point for OHV adventures in both the Manti-La Sal National Forest and the desert terrain of the San Rafael Swell. The campground offers 20 designated campsites divided into two categories: sites A, B, and 1-10 feature both electric and water hookups at $30 per night, while sites 11-20 provide electric-only service at $25 per night. Electric service includes 20, 30, and 50-amp configurations. Six pull-through sites accommodate larger RVs up to 48 feet in length. Modern facilities include restrooms with hot showers, drinking water, and a dump station. The park operates year-round with summer hours from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and winter hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Reservations can be made through Reserve America up to four months in advance but not within 48 hours of arrival. Walk-in camping is available via fee envelope at the entrance. A nine-hole golf course sits adjacent to the park.
