About
White Bridge Campground is located in Dixie National Forest along scenic Panguitch Creek at an elevation of 7,900 feet on the Colorado Plateau. The campground sits just 12 miles southwest of Panguitch and offers convenient access to some of Utah's premier outdoor recreation areas. The campground features 27 single campsites and one double site, all equipped with picnic tables and fire rings. Sites along Panguitch Creek benefit from natural shade provided by cottonwood trees, while sites on the opposite side of the loop road are more open with picnic shelters for shade. The campground provides flush and vault toilets, potable drinking water, a dump station, and garbage disposal. Anglers can fish for rainbow trout in Panguitch Creek directly from the campground. The Panguitch Lake ATV Trail System, featuring over 100 miles of trails, is accessible nearby. White Bridge serves as an excellent base camp for exploring the region's attractions. Panguitch Lake is just 6 miles away and is known for producing some of Utah's largest rainbow trout, along with brook, cutthroat, and brown trout. Cedar Breaks National Monument lies 16 miles from the campground, offering hiking trails and guided tours. The Ashdown Gorge Wilderness Area features 10 miles of trails and the Twisted Forest of ancient bristlecone pine. Bryce Canyon National Park is approximately one hour away.
Directions
From Panguitch, Utah, take Highway 143 southwest for 12 miles. Campground is on the north side of the highway.
