The campground features 37 campsites spread among ponderosa pines and surrounded by dramatic pink Claron limestone formations that rival nearby Bryce Canyon National Park. Each site includes a picnic table, fire pit with grill, and tent pad. The campground serves as an excellent basecamp for outdoor recreation. The Buckhorn Trailhead begins inside the campground and connects to the Golden Wall Trail for a scenic 5-mile round trip hike through the red rock landscape. The Red Canyon Bicycle Trail and Red Canyon Visitor Center are also easily accessible from the campground. Mountain biking, hiking, and horseback riding opportunities abound in the surrounding area. Facilities include flush and vault toilets, hot showers, a dump station, drinking water, and garbage service.
