About

Point Supreme Campground provides a unique high-elevation camping experience at over 10,000 feet in Cedar Breaks National Monument. The campground's 25 sites are nestled among subalpine meadows that burst with wildflowers during the summer months, offering a cool retreat with daytime temperatures averaging 60-70°F. The campground is well-equipped with flush toilets, free hot showers, and potable water during the operating season. Sites accommodate both tent campers and RVs, with several sites specifically suited for larger rigs up to 40 feet. Each site includes a picnic table and fire grate, with complimentary firewood provided to campers. The campground serves as an excellent base for exploring Cedar Breaks' spectacular amphitheater of colorful hoodoos, with access to hiking trails, ranger programs, wildflower identification walks, and evening star-gazing programs. The high elevation brings cooler temperatures year-round, with nighttime lows often dropping into the 30s and 40s even in summer. Afternoon thunderstorms are common, and visitors should be prepared for unpredictable mountain weather. Two wheelchair-accessible sites are available near the accessible restroom facilities. All sites must be reserved through Recreation.gov, with a maximum of 8 people and two camping units per site.
