About
Point Supreme Campground offers a unique high-elevation camping experience at over 10,000 feet in Cedar Breaks National Monument. The campground is surrounded by subalpine meadows that explode with wildflowers during July and August, while providing breathtaking views of the amphitheater filled with hoodoos in shades of red, orange, and white. The cooler temperatures at this elevation make it an ideal escape from the desert heat of southern Utah. The campground has 25 sites, including 17 that accommodate RVs up to 40 feet and 8 tent-only sites. Amenities include flush toilets, free hot showers (access code provided by camp host), potable water, and firewood provided free to campers. Each site has a fire grate and picnic table. Two wheelchair-accessible sites are located near the restrooms. There are no hookups; grey water must be collected and dumped at the camper's sink near the restroom building. The campground's central location makes it convenient for exploring the monument's overlooks and trails, attending ranger programs, stargazing at this designated International Dark Sky Park, and taking day trips to nearby Brian Head, Bryce Canyon, and Zion National Park.
