About

Verona Beach State Park campground occupies a prime location on the eastern shore of Oneida Lake, one of New York's largest inland lakes. The 47 campsites all feature electric hookups (30 or 50 amp), with 11 waterfront sites providing unobstructed views across the water. Sites accommodate tents or RVs, with equipment length limits ranging from 20 to 50 feet depending on the specific site. The park offers a supervised swimming beach with a splash pad, making it popular with families. A food concession (Teddy's Treats) operates in season. Beyond camping, visitors can explore 13 miles of hiking trails, try their hand at fishing or ice fishing in winter, or ride the equestrian trails. The park also permits hunting, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing in appropriate seasons. Reservations are available through ReserveAmerica up to 9 months in advance, with same-day reservations accepted until 3 p.m. Maximum stay is 14 consecutive nights.

Directions

From I-90 (New York State Thruway), take Exit 34 (Canastota). Follow Route 13 north directly to the park entrance.
