About

Pixley Falls State Park is a day-use destination in the foothills of the Adirondacks, centered around a picturesque 50-foot waterfall that cascades down a rocky gorge. The park's nature trail leads visitors through dense forest and offers excellent views of Pixley Falls and the surrounding mountain stream. While the park was once a campground, overnight camping is no longer available at Pixley Falls. The park now operates as a day-use facility with picnic areas, a pavilion for rent, and access to trout streams popular with anglers. Hunting is permitted in designated areas during season. The park is open year-round, though services are limited from November through April and roads may not be plowed in winter. Delta Lake State Park, located nearby, offers camping for those seeking overnight accommodations in the region.
