About

Utah Lake State Park provides camping and water recreation on Utah's largest freshwater lake, spanning roughly 148 square miles. The RV campground features 31 sites, each equipped with water and electric hookups. Sites include roofed patios, picnic tables, fire pits, and grills. The lake maintains an average water temperature of 75 degrees during summer, making it ideal for swimming, boating, paddleboarding, and water skiing. Anglers can target channel catfish, walleye, white bass, black bass, and several species of panfish. Multiple boat ramps with docks provide lake access, along with boat dry storage and a marine pump-out station. The park is conveniently located near Provo and serves as a base camp for exploring Utah's Wasatch Front, including nearby Provo Canyon with its Blue Ribbon fishing, hiking, cycling, and mountain biking trails. The campground operates seasonally from spring through October, with day-use access available year-round.
