About

Utah Lake State Park occupies a prime position on the eastern shore of Utah Lake, the largest natural freshwater lake in the western United States. Located just three miles west of downtown Provo via I-15 Exit 265, the park provides convenient access to over 96,000 acres of open water popular for boating, fishing, and waterfowl hunting. The Lakeshore Campground contains 31 RV sites, each equipped with water and 30/50-amp electrical hookups, a covered picnic table, fire pit, and BBQ grill. Modern restrooms with showers serve the campground. The park features two marinas with four boat ramps, courtesy docks, a fueling dock with marine pump-out, and lease dock options. A visitor center houses educational displays about the lake's history and wildlife, and a personal flotation device lending station is available. Reservations are available up to four months in advance through Reserve America. The park enforces a maximum of eight people and one camping unit per site. Check-in is at 3 p.m. and check-out at 2 p.m. Quiet hours run from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Note that refunds are not given for weather, bugs, or early departures.
