About

Upper Gresham Lake Campground offers a rustic camping experience on the scenic northeast shore of Upper Gresham Lake in Wisconsin's Northern Highland-American Legion State Forest. The campground features 25 sites numbered 1501-1525, including a double campsite (sites 1508-1509) that accommodates up to 12 people and two wheeled camping units, as well as walk-to tent-only sites (1519-1521) requiring a short hike from parking. The lake is renowned for its fishing and boating opportunities rather than swimming, making this an ideal spot for anglers. An ADA-designated fishing pier sits adjacent to the boat launch area. The campground provides rustic amenities including one ADA-accessible vault toilet building, two hand pumps for drinking water, and separate trash and recycling dumpsters. Firewood is available for purchase at the campground. Reservations are required and can be made through wisconsin.goingtocamp.com or by calling 1-888-947-2757. Check-in is at 3 p.m. and checkout at 1 p.m. A vehicle admission pass is required for all motor vehicles.
