About

Two Rivers Campground occupies a prime location at the confluence of the Jacks Fork and Current Rivers within the Ozark National Scenic Riverways, America's first national park area dedicated to protecting a wild river system. The campground features 22 sites total, including 12 standard non-electric sites, 7 walk-in tent-only sites, and 2 cluster sites for larger groups. Standard sites accommodate two tents or one RV and one tent, while cluster sites allow up to six tents with no RVs permitted. The campground operates year-round and requires reservations through Recreation.gov as of January 1, 2025. The crystal-clear, spring-fed Current and Jacks Fork Rivers provide exceptional opportunities for canoeing, kayaking, tubing, swimming, and fishing. Over 130 miles of waterways wind through the park's distinctive karst landscape featuring more than 300 caves, springs, sinkholes, and losing streams. Several hiking and horseback riding trails crisscross the region, including connections to the Ozark Trail. The surrounding Ozark forest is dominated by white oak and shortleaf pine, with sycamore, cottonwood, and river birch along the waterways, creating spectacular displays when redbuds and dogwoods bloom in spring. The campground provides flush toilets and hot showers from April 15 through October 15, switching to vault toilets during the off-season. All sites include picnic tables, campfire rings, and grills on paved roads and parking spurs. A seasonal camp store offers firewood and ice. Nearby attractions include historic Alley Mill and Alley Spring, as well as Round Spring and Round Spring Cave with ranger-guided tours during summer months.
