Round Spring Campground occupies a forested setting along the Current River within Ozark National Scenic Riverways, the first national park area designated to protect a wild river system. The campground offers standard sites, tent-only sites, six electric sites with 50-amp hookups, and group sites accommodating up to 45 people. Paved roads and parking spurs make access easy, and amenities include flush toilets year-round, free hot showers, a dump station, and a seasonal camp store with firewood and ice. The Current River flows directly past the campground, providing excellent canoeing, tubing, swimming, and fishing. Canoe and kayak rentals are available from nearby outfitters. Round Spring Cave, a scenic cave with ranger-guided tours offered daily during summer, is within walking distance. Several hiking and horseback riding trails crisscross the region, including connections to Echo Bluff and Current River State Park. Historic Alley Mill and Alley Spring are also nearby. Summer camping fees run $20-$30 per night for individual sites and $140 for group sites; winter rates drop to $10-$20. Check-in is at 1:00 PM, check-out at noon. Quiet hours are enforced 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Hammocks must be free-standing only; no tree attachment permitted.

Directions

From Eminence, Missouri, travel 13 miles north on Missouri Highway 19. Standard sites are located at the south end of the two-lane bridge. Group sites 1-3 are north of the one-lane bridge near the Carr's Canoe Rental parking lot. Group sites 4-9 are between the two bridges.
