Round Spring Campground is located along the Current River in the heart of Ozark National Scenic Riverways, America's first national park area protecting a wild river system. The campground offers a quiet, forested setting with 55 sites including standard, tent-only, group sites, and electric hookup sites. All sites feature picnic tables, fire rings, and grills on paved camping pads. The crystal-clear Current River provides exceptional opportunities for canoeing, kayaking, tubing, swimming, and fishing. Over 130 miles of waterways wind through the park, with nearby canoe and kayak rental outfitters available. Round Spring Cave is adjacent to the campground, offering ranger-guided tours during summer months. Hiking and horseback riding trails connect to Echo Bluff and Current River State Park, including access to the Ozark Trail, Alley Overlook Trail, and Chubb Hollow Trail. The Ozark landscape features over 300 caves, springs, sinkholes, and streams carved through the region's limestone. White oak and shortleaf pine dominate the forest, while sycamore, cottonwood, river birch, and maples line the riverbanks. Spring brings spectacular displays of redbud and dogwood. The campground includes modern facilities with hot showers, a dump station, and a seasonal camp store. An amphitheater hosts ranger-led programs during summer months.

Directions

Round Spring Campground is located 13 miles north of Eminence, Missouri on Missouri Highway 19. Standard sites are at the south end of the two-lane bridge. Group sites 1-3 are north of the one-lane bridge near Carr's Canoe Rental parking lot. Group sites 4-9 are between the two bridges.
