Broadfoot Campground is nestled between the Current River and a large open field within Ozark National Scenic Riverways. This primitive backcountry camping area offers 4 reservable sites with a combination of sunny and shady locations, all positioned right along the water's edge. While vehicles cannot drive directly to the river, the sites provide easy walking access for swimming, fishing, and other water activities. The clear Ozark nights offer spectacular views of the moon and stars. As part of the park's extensive horse trail network, Broadfoot features a maintained horse staging area located along the entry road. This makes it a popular destination for equestrian campers exploring the Current River backcountry. The campground provides basic amenities including vault toilets, but campers must bring their own water and be prepared for primitive camping conditions. Located approximately 25 minutes from Eminence, Missouri, Broadfoot offers a remote riverside experience in the heart of the Ozarks. The campground operates under the park's reservation-only system, with payment processed through the Recreation.gov Scan & Pay mobile app.

Directions

From Eminence, drive north on Highway 19 for about 2.7 miles. Turn right onto County Road 19-205 and follow for about 3 miles. At the Y-shaped split, take the left route. After 0.2 miles, the road merges with County Road 19-203. Continue for another 0.4 miles until the road splits again. Turn left and follow the road until it reaches a field. Drive counter-clockwise around the field to reach the campground.
