Broadfoot Campground occupies a scenic spot where the Current River meets a broad open field in the Upper Current District of Ozark National Scenic Riverways. This backcountry campground provides four primitive sites with picnic tables, fire rings, lantern posts, and vault toilet restrooms. Sites accommodate tents, RVs, and trailers up to 40 feet in length via back-in driveways. The campground offers direct access to riverside recreation including swimming and fishing, though vehicles cannot drive to the river's edge. At night, the remote location provides excellent stargazing with minimal light pollution. As part of the park's horse trail network, Broadfoot features a maintained horse staging area along the entry road, making it popular with equestrians exploring the Ozark backcountry. Reaching Broadfoot requires navigating roughly 25 minutes of rural roads from Eminence, Missouri. The final approach crosses a field, following the route counter-clockwise to reach the camp. Campers should bring all drinking water as none is available on site.

Directions

From Eminence, drive north on Highway 19 for about 2.7 miles. Turn right onto County Road 19-205 and follow for about 3 miles. At the Y-intersection, take the left route. After 0.2 miles the road merges with County Road 19-203. Continue 0.4 miles to another split, turn left, then follow the road to the field. Drive counter-clockwise around the field to reach the campground.
