Open — Open year-round. During the off-season from November through March, water at individual campsites is shut off but potable water remains available at frost-free spigots throughout the campground. Camping is limited to 15 days within any 30-consecutive-day period.

Timbuktu Campground at Echo Bluff State Park provides premier camping facilities in the heart of Missouri's Ozarks region in Shannon County. The campground features 60 RV sites with full hookups including electric (with 50-amp options), water, and sewer connections, plus 12 walk-in tent sites for those seeking a more traditional camping experience. The modern campground includes restrooms with showers that remain open year-round, though individual campsite water is shut off during the off-season from November through March (frost-free spigots provide potable water during this period). The campground is fully reservable up to 12 months in advance through the Missouri State Parks reservation system. All sites include picnic tables and fire pits, with firewood available for purchase on-site. Utility carts are available to help transport gear to the walk-in tent sites. Echo Bluff State Park occupies the former site of Camp Zoe and features the dramatic Echo Bluff formation towering above crystal-clear Sinking Creek. Visitors enjoy floating, swimming, fishing, hiking, and mountain biking, with a lodge, restaurant, and gift shop also available on-site.

Echo Bluff State Park is located at 35244 Echo Bluff Drive, Eminence, MO 65466. From Eminence, head north on Highway 19 for approximately 14 miles, then turn right onto Echo Bluff Drive. Follow the signs to the park entrance.
