About

Two Medicine Campground sits in the picturesque Two Medicine Valley on the east side of Glacier National Park, approximately 13 miles from the small town of East Glacier Park. The campground offers 100 reservable sites that are generally shaded by mature trees, providing natural privacy and protection from the elements. While visitors should be prepared for cold nights at high elevation and wind, the setting provides an authentic mountain camping experience. The east side location offers distinct advantages for hikers. Trailheads begin at higher elevations than those on the west side of the park, meaning less vertical ascent is required to reach stunning alpine vistas and scenic destinations. A handicapped accessible trail to Running Eagle Falls is located along Two Medicine Road. The valley also features boat tours and historic Red Bus tours departing from the Two Medicine area. Campground amenities include flush toilets, potable water, a dump station, food storage lockers, and trash collection during the main season. A camp store and ranger station are located in close proximity. The campground can accommodate RVs and trailers up to 35 feet in length at 10 designated sites, with a maximum of eight people and two vehicles per site. Generators are permitted only in Loops B and C, while Loop A remains generator-free for a quieter experience. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. Late in the season, typically from late September onward, the campground operates in primitive mode with vault toilets only and no running water or dump station access. No cell service or wifi is available in the valley.
