About

Two Medicine Campground occupies a prime location in Glacier National Park's Two Medicine Valley, offering 100 campsites across three distinct loops. The east side of the park is renowned for exceptional day hiking opportunities, and the campground serves as an ideal base for exploring trails that begin at higher elevations than their west-side counterparts, reducing the effort needed to reach scenic overlooks. The campground provides seasonal amenities including flush toilets, potable water, and a nearby camp store and ranger station. Sites accommodate tents and RVs up to 35 feet, though no hookups are available. Generators are permitted only in Loops B and C during designated hours. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring, with campfires allowed in the designated rings. Bear-proof food storage lockers are provided. The Two Medicine area offers boat tours on Two Medicine Lake and access to the handicap-accessible Running Eagle Falls trail. The Blackfeet Indian Reservation borders the park to the east, and Waterton Lakes National Park in Canada is accessible for day trips.

Directions

From East Glacier, travel north on MT-49 for approximately 4 miles, then turn left onto Two Medicine Road and continue about 9 miles to the campground.
