West Central Pondera County in north central Montana... * WHEN...Until 515 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 240 PM MDT, Satellite estimates and rain gauge data indicate heavy rain and snowmelt from thunderstorms in the warned area. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Kiowa, East Glacier Park, East Glacier Park Village, Saint Mary, Babb, Many Glacier, Marias Pass and Goat Haunt.

Northwestern Pondera County in north central Montana... * WHEN...Until 445 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 238 PM MDT, Gauge reports indicated ongoing flooding at Badger Creek below Four Horns Canal. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Badger Creek, North Fork Whitetail Creek and Whitetail Creek. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mainly rural areas of Southern Glacier and Northwestern Pondera Counties.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Areas along Swiftcurrent Creek near Many Glacier in Glacier National Park. * WHEN...Until 445 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding and elevated flow of creeks and streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 236 PM MDT, Recent heavy rainfall has resulted in elevated flows on creeks and streams including Swiftcurrent Creek near Many Glacier. Additional precipitation is possible through Tuesday afternoon. - Creek levels are expected to slowly diminish towards the evening. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Kiowa, East Glacier Park, East Glacier Park Village, the entire east side of Glacier National Park, Saint Mary, Babb, Many Glacier, Marias Pass and Goat Haunt.
