About
Located 17 miles east of Moran Junction in the Blackrock Ranger District of Bridger-Teton National Forest, Turpin Meadow Campground provides 18 campsites designed for both standard camping and equestrian use. The campground includes 14 standard sites and 4 pull-through sites, with several equipped with corrals and hitching posts for stock camping. Sites accommodate RVs up to 66 feet at pull-through locations. Facilities include 2 double-unit vault restrooms, 1 single-unit vault restroom, hand-pump drinking water, bear boxes for food storage, dumpsters, and a game storage pole. The campground is situated along Little White Creek with access to beaver ponds and equestrian trails. Stock users must utilize the provided corrals and hitch rails rather than highlines, electric fences, or tying to trees. Operating as a first-come, first-served facility, the campground charges $15 per night with an additional $6 fee for a second vehicle. Sites are marked with horseshoe symbols for equestrian camping or bear paw symbols for standard camping. Bear food storage is required year-round. The campground is accessed via Buffalo Valley Road (National Forest Road 30050) and provides a gateway to the surrounding wilderness areas.
