About

Pacific Creek Campground is a small, rustic campground located at the northern terminus of Pacific Creek Road in the Bridger-Teton National Forest, right at the boundary of the Teton Wilderness. Situated approximately 9.5 miles from the Moran entrance station, it serves as a staging area for backcountry trips into some of the most remote wilderness in the lower 48 states. The campground has 8 sites total: 7 standard campsites and 1 pull-through. Facilities include two double vault toilets, bear boxes for food storage, three game storage poles, and equestrian amenities such as corrals, hitching posts, and a stock tank. There is no potable water available, so campers must bring their own supply. The Pacific Creek Trailhead, located adjacent to the campground, is a popular departure point for trips to Hawk's Rest and the Thorofare. Camping is limited to 5 consecutive days within any 30-day period from May 1 through Labor Day in this area. Bear-safe food storage is required throughout the Blackrock Ranger District.
