About
Pacific Creek Campground is located next to the Teton Wilderness boundary at the north end of Pacific Creek Road, approximately 9.5 miles from the Moran entrance station in Bridger-Teton National Forest. The campground is equipped with 7 standard campsites and 1 pull-through site, providing access to the popular Pacific Creek Trailhead which leads into Hawk's Rest and the Thorofare. The campground caters to equestrian campers with corrals and hitching posts for horses, along with a stock tank. Standard amenities include two double vault toilets, three game storage poles, and bear boxes for food storage. All campsites are first-come, first-served with no reservations accepted. Campers must bring their own water as no potable water is provided on-site. The campground typically operates from late May through early September. After the closure date, water is turned off, bathrooms are locked, and trash service ends, but the gate remains open for free camping without amenities. During the operating season, the fee is $13 per night with an additional $6 fee per extra vehicle. Bear food storage is required year-round.
Directions
From Moran, Wyoming, head west on US 26/287 for 0.2 miles. Turn right onto US 89/191/287 and continue for 1 mile. Turn right onto Pacific Creek Road/FS Road 30090 and follow for 2.2 miles. Veer left to continue on FS 30090 for approximately 6 miles. Campground is on the left.
