About

Tieton Pond Campground is a dispersed camping area located in the Naches Ranger District of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest in Washington. Situated at 3,250 feet elevation, the campground offers a peaceful setting along Tieton Pond, away from the bustle of Highway 12. The small pond is surrounded by trees, creating a quiet atmosphere for campers seeking solitude. The campground accommodates both RV and tent camping and operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations available. Facilities are minimal, with portable toilets provided but no potable water. Campers should bring all water needed for their stay. The fee is $10 per vehicle per night, with an additional $5 charge for extra vehicles up to a maximum of two per site. Access is via Highway 12 to milepost 152, then turning onto Forest Service Road 1304 and following it to the campground. Day hiking opportunities are available in the surrounding area. The campground typically opens in late May after spring maintenance is completed.
