About
Peninsula Campground is a dispersed camping destination located on the scenic eastern shore of Rimrock Lake within the Naches Ranger District of Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. At 3,000 feet elevation, the campground accommodates both RVs and tents and provides basic facilities including vault toilets and a boat launch for lake access. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations available. Visitors must physically arrive to claim and pay for sites at $10 per night. Interagency Senior and Access Recreation Passes provide a 50% discount. Payment can be made via QR code through the Recreation.gov mobile app. No potable water is available on-site, so campers should bring an adequate supply. Recreation opportunities include motorized and non-motorized boating, swimming, lake fishing, and mountain biking on nearby trails.
