South Fork Tieton Dispersed Camping provides primitive camping opportunities along the South Fork Tieton River in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. Located at 3,300 feet elevation near Rimrock Lake, the area encompasses multiple dispersed camping zones including Jay Hawk, Lower Bake Oven, Upper Bake Oven, and Minnie Meadows, spread along Forest Service Road 1000. The sites accommodate both RVs and tents in a forested setting near the river. The camping area operates on a first-come, first-served basis with a nightly fee per vehicle. Seasonal outhouses and sani-cans are available during summer months, but no potable water or trash services are provided. Campers must bring their own water and pack out all garbage following Leave No Trace principles. Access is via Highway 12 to Forest Service Road 1200, then Forest Service Road 1000, with camping zones beginning within 20 yards of the pavement and extending up to 8 miles to Minnie Meadows. The area provides access to day hiking opportunities and proximity to the South Fork Tieton Trail. Winter access is limited or closed due to snow and road conditions typical for this elevation in the Washington Cascades. The dispersed nature of the camping allows for a more primitive and secluded experience compared to developed campgrounds in the area.

From Naches, take Highway 12 to Forest Service Road 1200. Turn onto Forest Service Road 1200, then continue to Forest Service Road 1000. Camping zones begin within 20 yards of the pavement and extend up to 8 miles to Minnie Meadows.
