About

Three Creeks Meadow Horse Camp serves as the dedicated equestrian camping area near Three Creeks Lake in Deschutes National Forest. Located on the edge of a scenic meadow at approximately 6,550 feet elevation, the camp offers beautiful views of the surrounding alpine landscape and nearby water. Sites 012 through 020 are reserved exclusively for horse camping, with each site equipped with four corrals to accommodate horses. All sites include a picnic table and campfire ring with grill. Vault toilets are available, but this is a no potable water facility, so campers must bring their own drinking water supply. Livestock water is provided for horses. Weed-free feed is mandatory for all horses to protect the surrounding wilderness. The campground can accommodate RVs, trailers, and tents, though no hookups are available and the maximum spur length is 30 feet. The camp provides excellent access to recreational opportunities including the Tam McArthur Trail at neighboring Driftwood Campground, which offers views of the Three Sisters volcanic peaks. Three Creeks Lake offers non-motorized boating and fishing. Wilderness permits are required for entry into Three Sisters Wilderness from June 15 through October 15.
