About

Three Creek Meadow Campground is one of four facilities near Three Creeks Lake in the Deschutes National Forest. The campground occupies a scenic setting at 6,550 feet elevation, surrounded by old-growth forest and nestled below the dramatic Tam McArthur Rim. Three Creeks Lake itself is a 28-acre alpine gem formed in a glacial cirque. The campground provides standard nonelectric sites (001-011), each equipped with a picnic table and campfire ring with grill. Vault toilets are available, but there is no potable water, so campers must bring their own supply. No hookups are available. The adjacent sites (012-020) are reserved for horse camping, so horses may be present in the area. Access is via Forest Road 16 from Sisters. The road and campground are subject to seasonal closures due to snow at this elevation. Camping in the meadow itself is prohibited. A 14-day consecutive stay limit applies, with a 28-day annual limit on National Forest lands.
