Ashley National Forest Order 050115A1 regarding:  Closure of Fishing from Concrete Boat Ramps on Flaming Gorge Reservoir

About

Stonefly I River Camp offers a true backcountry camping experience along the scenic Green River in the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area. Located on the north bank of the river, 8.2 miles below Flaming Gorge Dam and just over a mile downstream from Little Hole, this primitive site provides direct riverfront access to one of the region's finest trout fisheries. The campsite accommodates 6-8 people with basic amenities including one picnic table, one fire ring, two tent pads, a portable toilet privacy screen, and a bench. Campers must bring their own portable toilet system, as this is a strict requirement for all Green River float-in sites. There is no potable water or trash service; all garbage must be packed out. Access is by hiking approximately one mile from Little Hole or by floating downstream from the Spillway boat ramp or Little Hole. Registration must be completed same-day at the Camp Registration Board at Little Hole. A Flaming Gorge Recreation Area Use Pass is required in addition to the nightly camping fee.
