In Pennsylvania, Berks, Lehigh, Northampton, Upper Bucks, Western Chester, and Western Montgomery Counties. * WHEN...From noon Wednesday to 8 PM EDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Very warm low temperatures in the low to mid 70s at night will not offer any relief from the heat. This combined with multiple days of near record breaking temperatures will exacerbate the impacts from the heat and humidity. The hottest conditions are expected to occur Thursday through Friday.

Stephens State Park is a 794-acre state park situated in the New Jersey Highlands along the Musconetcong River, approximately 1.5 miles north of Hackettstown in Warren County. The park provides a peaceful camping experience with 39 tent and small trailer sites, each equipped with a fire ring and picnic table. Flush toilets and shower facilities are conveniently located within walking distance of the camping area. The park is connected to the adjacent Allamuchy Mountain State Park, offering hikers access to an extensive trail network through the highlands. The Musconetcong River runs through the park, providing opportunities for fishing. Note that swimming is prohibited at the park. Pets are welcome but must remain on a leash no longer than six feet at all times. Recreational facilities at Stephens State Park are partially accessible for persons with disabilities. The campground operates seasonally from April 1 through October 31, with reservations available online through camping.nj.gov.
