About

Spring Creek Campground is a small, accessible campground located in the Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest near Martinsdale, Montana. Its 10 campsites are situated in a lush riparian zone along Spring Creek, providing opportunities for wading and fishing directly from camp. The campground is easily reached via a 4-mile drive north from Highway 12. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations available. Each site includes a fire ring and/or grill and a picnic table. Facilities include vault toilets with at least one ADA-accessible unit and potable water during warmer months. A food storage order is in effect March 1 through December 1 to prevent human-bear conflicts. An ATV trailhead within the campground connects to non-motorized trails offering sweeping views of the surrounding mountain ranges. The campground can accommodate trailers up to 35 feet but is not suitable for large RVs. Leashed dogs are welcome, but horses are prohibited. Motorized OHVs must remain on the campground road.
