About
Many Pines Campground is located in a lodgepole pine forest directly off US Highway 89 in the Little Belt Mountains of the Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest. The 23 campsites are situated along Belt Creek, which provides fishing opportunities for trout with mandatory catch-and-release rules for cutthroat. The campground is considered the most convenient option for campers with large RVs traveling the Highway 89 corridor, with a maximum trailer length of 51 feet. Each campsite is equipped with a fire ring or grill and a picnic table. Vault toilets are available, including at least one ADA-accessible facility. Potable water from a hand pump is provided during the warmer months. Approximately one mile north lies the Memorial Falls trailhead, a popular day hike destination. A food storage order is in effect from March 1 through December 1 to prevent human-bear conflicts. Camping is limited to 16 consecutive days at one location. Leashed dogs are welcome, but horses are not permitted in the campground. Motorized OHVs must stay on the campground road.
Directions
