Daisy Dean Camp Campground is a free, primitive campground located in the Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest in the Little Belt Mountains of central Montana. Situated at approximately 6,085 feet elevation, this high-alpine meadow setting provides a rustic base camp for self-sufficient campers seeking solitude and direct trail access. The campground features three large, well-spaced sites capable of accommodating various camping setups, including RVs up to 35 feet in length, smaller trailers, and tents. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and metal fire ring with a swing-away grill. The campground is particularly popular with equestrians, featuring horse corrals and hitching posts near the entrance. Across from the camping sites, a day-use parking area serves as a trailhead providing immediate access to an extensive network of multi-use trails utilized by hikers, ATV/OHV riders, and horseback riders. The area is known for its panoramic mountain views and opportunities for wildlife viewing, with elk, black bears, and other Montana wildlife inhabiting the surrounding forest. Due to bear activity, mandatory food storage orders are in effect, requiring all food and scented items to be properly secured. Access to the campground involves traveling several miles on well-maintained dirt and gravel roads from the paved highway, though the final mile can be bumpy. The area may have cattle grazing during mid to late summer as part of an active grazing permit. As a primitive facility, there is no potable water on site, and campers must pack out all trash following Leave No Trace principles.

Located on Findon Lane in the Little Belt Mountains. Access from paved highway via several miles of dirt and gravel roads. Final mile is bumpy and requires slower speeds.
