Alcohol Prohibitions

A portion of Forest Service Road 1003, also known as Tom Creek Road, is closed. The road closure starts at the junction of FSR 10 and FSR 1003 and includes the first 4.1 miles of FSR 1003 to the junction with the 1003-416 and 1003-409 roads.

About

Secret Campground is a small, secluded group site located along Forest Service Road 21 in the Willamette National Forest. The campground sits directly adjacent to the Middle Fork Willamette River, offering well-shaded sites screened from the road. The Middle Fork Willamette Trail provides access for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding right from the campground. The single group site accommodates up to 40 people with 15 vehicles and 15 tents. Anglers can fish the Middle Fork, though special regulations apply to this section of the river. Hills Creek Reservoir is nearby for additional water recreation including kayaking, paddle boarding, and boating. The surrounding area features scenic views at Young's Rock, Larrison Rock, and Chuckle Springs. This is a primitive site with vault toilets but no potable water. Campers must bring their own water supply. Dogs are allowed but must be leashed at all times. The campground operates as a group reservation site only at $75 per night.

Directions

From Oakridge, travel east on Highway 58 for 1.7 miles. Turn right onto Hills Creek Road/Kitson Springs Road, continue 0.5 miles, then turn right onto Forest Road 21. Travel approximately 18 miles; campground entrance is on the right.
