Everage Flat Campground sits in a scenic Douglas-fir stand approximately 20 miles from Oakridge along Forest Road 21 in the Willamette National Forest. This primitive 5-site campground is ideal for campers seeking a quiet, minimally developed experience close to excellent recreation opportunities. The nearby Middle Fork National Recreation Trail offers hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding, while the Middle Fork River provides fishing access. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations. Services are minimal: one vault toilet is the only facility, with no potable water or trash collection available. Campers must bring their own water and pack out all trash. A day use fee of $8 per vehicle applies, though Northwest Forest Passes and Interagency Recreation Passes are honored. Digital day use passes can be purchased through Recreation.gov or the Recreation.gov mobile app. The area is subject to a 14-day camping limit within any 30-day period. Fire restrictions may apply seasonally; current fire danger in the Willamette National Forest is Low.

Directions

From the junction of Crestview Street and Oregon State Highway 58 in Oakridge (the only traffic light in Oakridge on Highway 58), travel east on Highway 58 approximately two miles until Hills Creek Road/Kitson Springs Road. Turn right and travel 0.5 miles until Forest Road 21. Continue on Forest Road 21 for just over 20 miles and Everage Flat will be on your right.
