Minimum 2-night stay required on weekends and 3-night minimum on holiday weekends. Limited to 14 days in any 30-day period. Alcohol is not permitted at the campground or surrounding Dorena Lake lands.

Schwarz Park Campground sits in the low foothills of the Calapooya Mountains below Dorena Lake, approximately five miles east of Cottage Grove in Oregon's Southern Willamette Valley. The campground features 59 single and double campsites plus 6 group sites, nestled in a diverse landscape of marshland, grasslands, and coniferous forests along the Row River. The campground provides flush toilets, hot showers, drinking water, and a dump station. A playground makes it popular with families. No hookups are available. Sites can accommodate RVs, trailers, and tents, with single sites allowing one camping unit plus two tents or three tents total. Dorena Lake offers excellent boating, water skiing, fishing, and swimming opportunities. The 14-mile Row River Trail passes nearby, providing scenic hiking, biking, and horseback riding from downtown Cottage Grove along the north side of the lake. The Cottage Grove Scenic Byway Tour features seven historic covered bridges from the 1920s and 30s. Baker Bay County Park, located on the lake, offers a boat ramp and marina. The campground is managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Directions

From Cottage Grove, take Exit 174 off Interstate 5. Travel east on Row River Road for approximately 5 miles, crossing the Row River twice. The campground entrance is on the left immediately after the second river crossing.
