About

San Luis Creek Campground sits along the shores of O'Neill Forebay within San Luis Reservoir State Recreation Area, nestled in the grassy hills of the western San Joaquin Valley near historic Pacheco Pass. The campground provides 53 level sites equipped with water and electric hookups, fire rings, and picnic tables, making it well-suited for RV camping. The area offers direct access to excellent fishing and boating opportunities on the forebay. A paved 5-mile accessible trail follows the shoreline connecting the campground to North Beach day-use area and various fishing spots. The open terrain provides expansive views but offers minimal shade and is exposed to wind. Reservations are available year-round through ReserveCalifornia.com. The campground includes a dump station and vault toilets, though there are no showers on-site. Dogs are permitted in the campground when leashed. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers up to approximately 30 feet.
