* WHAT...Widespread high temperatures in the 90s with hotspots reaching the low 100s. * WHERE...North Bay Interior Mountains and Valleys, The Santa Clara Valley and Eastern Hills, The East Bay Hills and Valleys, and Northern Salinas Valley/Hollister Valley and Carmel Valley. * WHEN...Until 10 PM PDT this evening. * IMPACTS...This level of heat affects most individuals sensitive to heat, especially those without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. Impacts possible in some health systems and in heat-sensitive industries. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Widespread Moderate HeatRisk in the upper 90s with favored hotspots reaching the low 100s on Tuesday. Limited overnight recovery is expected with overnight lows only dropping into the low to mid 60s. Higher elevations may only see overnight lows drop into the upper 60s to mid 70s.
