About

Rim Campground occupies a prime location near the edge of the Mogollon Rim, one of Arizona's most dramatic geological features. The rim offers spectacular 100-mile views across the transition zone between the Colorado Plateau and the Sonoran Desert. Surrounded by ponderosa pines in a relatively flat area, the campground provides a peaceful forest setting where deer and elk occasionally wander through the campsites. The campground contains 26 sites arranged in two loops of 13 sites each. All sites feature approximately 40 feet of parallel parking and can accommodate tents, pop-up campers, and short trailers or motorhomes. Each site includes a campfire ring with grill and a picnic table. Amenities include accessible vault toilets, drinking water, and trash service. A camp host is available on-site for assistance. Woods Canyon Lake sits approximately 3 miles from the campground and is one of Arizona's premier trout fisheries. The marina store at the lake offers boat and kayak rentals, fishing equipment, state fishing licenses, and basic groceries. Only quiet generators are permitted in the campground.
