About

Operating seasonally from May 1 through November, this primitive camping area requires visitors to be fully self-contained with their own water, waste disposal, and supplies. As a dispersed camping site, no developed amenities are provided. There are no restrooms, potable water, picnic tables, or designated fire rings. Campers must pack out all trash and human waste according to Leave No Trace principles. Camp at least 100 feet from any water source and within 300 feet of the roadway. Camping is limited to 14 consecutive days within any 30-day period, after which campers must leave the forest for a minimum of 16 days. Check current fire restrictions before building any campfire, as fire danger in the region fluctuates seasonally.
