At 115 acres, Richardson Park is the largest developed park in the Lane County Parks system and the closest full-service campground to Eugene and Veneta. Located on the shores of Fern Ridge Reservoir, this popular family destination features 88 campsites with various hookup options, making it ideal for both tent campers and RVers. The park offers exceptional water recreation access through its marina, boat ramp with ample trailer parking, and designated swimming beach. The reservoir is known for boating, water skiing, sailing, and fishing. On land, visitors can enjoy a shoreline path, hiking trails, children's playground, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, and an amphitheater. The camp store sells ice and firewood for convenience. With reserved picnic shelters, modern restroom facilities, and seasonal moorage options, Richardson Park balances natural beauty with well-maintained amenities, making it a top choice for families and water sports enthusiasts in the Eugene area.

Directions

Richardson Park Campground is located at 25950 Richardson Park Road in Junction City, Oregon. From Eugene, take Highway 99 North to Junction City, then turn west onto Highway 36. Follow Highway 36 for approximately 5 miles, then turn left onto Richardson Park Road. The campground entrance is on the left.
