Richardson Campground

Richardson Park is the largest developed park in the Lane County Parks system, spanning 115 acres along the shore of Fern Ridge Reservoir. The campground offers 88 sites with partial hookups including water and electric connections. While the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers manages the reservoir, Lane County Parks operates the campground and day-use facilities. The park features extensive water-based recreation including a 212-slip marina, designated swimming area, and boat launch with dock access. Land-based amenities include both hard and soft surface trails, play structures, game areas, and an outdoor amphitheater. Three picnic shelters are available for group gatherings, including an impressive 8,000-square-foot shelter with an outdoor kitchen and seating for 300. The campground operates seasonally from mid-April through early October, with exact dates dependent on water levels managed by the Army Corps of Engineers. Reservations can be made online 24/7 or by phone. Wastewater system upgrades are currently underway affecting some facilities.

Directions

Richardson Park Campground is located at 25950 Richardson Park Road in Junction City, Oregon. From Eugene, take Highway 99 North to Junction City, then turn west onto Highway 36. Follow Highway 36 for approximately 5 miles, then turn left onto Richardson Park Road. The campground entrance is on the left.
