About

Reversed Creek Campground is a small, private facility nestled in a grove of mature aspen trees at 7,600 feet elevation in the June Lake area of Inyo National Forest. The campground provides 17 sites that can accommodate vehicles up to 30 feet, making it suitable for smaller RVs and trailers. Each site includes a picnic table and bear-proof food storage locker, which is mandatory in this active bear area. The location offers direct access to outstanding recreation. Gull Lake sits across from the campground entrance, and June Lake is just minutes away, both renowned for rainbow trout fishing. A boat launch and marina are available at the nearby June Lake Campground. Hikers can explore trails leading to Mammoth Rock, Sherwin Lakes, and Gaylor Lake, or venture into the Ansel Adams Wilderness via nearby trailheads. The June Lake Loop (Highway 158) provides a scenic driving route past several lakes with views of 11,000-12,000 foot peaks. The small town of June Lake offers basic services, and Mono Lake and Yosemite National Park are popular day trips from the campground.
