Potable water is available from spigots throughout the camp on a seasonal basis, typically turned on in late summer. Nearby attractions include the Flaming Gorge and Ashley Karst National Recreation Areas, cave systems, East Park Reservoir, Sheep Creek Geological Loop, Spirit Lake, and Ute Fire Tower Lookout. Red Canyon Lodge and other destinations are within an hour's drive.
