Razorback Lake Campground

About

Razorback Lake Campground is a traditional rustic-style campground located in the central portion of the Northern Highland American Legion State Forest on the northwest corner of Razorback Lake. The campground features 54 reservable campsites (sites 2101-2154) with wider spacing typical of the forest's rustic campgrounds. Sites 2125-2126 and 2132-2136 are walk-to tent-only sites requiring campers to hike a short distance from their vehicles. The campground provides minimal facilities characteristic of rustic camping: three ADA-accessible vault toilet buildings, three hand pumps for drinking water, and separate trash and recycling dumpsters. A large area for water access and a boat launch are available within the campground, making it popular for swimming, boating, and fishing activities on Razorback Lake. Reservations are required and can be made the same day of arrival or up to 11 months in advance through the Wisconsin State Park System. Firewood is sold on-site. The campground operates seasonally from April 1 through December 1, snow conditions permitting, with no electricity available at any sites.
