Tuttle Creek State Park is one of Kansas's most developed state parks, situated on the shores of Tuttle Creek Reservoir about two miles north of Manhattan. The 12,500-acre reservoir offers approximately 100 miles of rugged, wooded shoreline for boating, fishing, and water recreation. The park is divided into five camping areas, each with its own character: River Pond and Rocky Ford provide the most developed camping with utility hookups; Cedar Ridge offers secluded cabin rentals; Fancy Creek features electric sites; and Randolph provides a mix of electric and primitive camping. Campers can choose from 8 full-hookup sites (water/electric/sewer), 159 water and electric sites, 44 electric-only sites, and over 500 primitive campsites. The park accommodates RVs of all sizes, with some areas handling rigs up to 110 feet. Pull-through sites are available at River Pond. Modern shower houses and flush toilet facilities are maintained throughout developed areas, with dump stations conveniently located. Beyond camping, the park offers swimming beaches, a full-service marina, multiple boat ramps and courtesy docks, an 18-hole disc golf course, archery range, volleyball courts, and horseshoe pits. Seven ADA-accessible cabins are available across River Pond and Cedar Ridge areas, along with an accessible dock and hiking trail at the Spillway area.

Directions

From Manhattan, head north on Tuttle Creek Boulevard (US-24). Continue through town and look for the turnoff for Tuttle Creek Dam (Highway 13). Turn right on River Pond Road and continue 1.2 miles to the park office at 5800A River Pond Road.
