East Rolling Hills Park
This is a day-use park only with no overnight camping. Six group shelters are available for reservation through Recreation.gov. Day-use beach fees are $5 per vehicle or $2 for walk-in/bike access.
About
East Rolling Hills Park sits on the shore of Milford Lake, the largest man-made lake in Kansas with 15,700 acres of surface area and 163 miles of shoreline. The park serves as the primary day-use destination at Milford Lake, managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The park features six group shelters that can be reserved through Recreation.gov. Each shelter includes a vault toilet and grill, with nearby amenities including playgrounds, horseshoe pits, sand volleyball courts, and a full-size basketball court. A swim beach and free public boat ramp provide direct lake access. Milford Lake is nestled on the edge of the Kansas Flint Hills and fed by the Republican River. The nearby Milford Nature Center and Fish Hatchery below the dam offers live animal exhibits and educational programs about Kansas ecosystems.
