Outlet Park sits below the Tuttle Creek Lake Dam on the Big Blue River, just minutes from Manhattan, Kansas. Managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers, this day-use facility offers five group picnic shelters that can be reserved from April 15 through October 31. The shelters include picnic tables and barbecue grills, with some offering electrical hookups. A playground is available near the Cottonwood shelter area. The park is a popular destination for disc golf enthusiasts and anglers fishing the Big Blue River tailwaters below the dam. The Blue River Trail provides a one-mile loop with excellent wildlife viewing opportunities year-round. Visitors should note this is strictly a day-use area with park hours from 6am to 10pm; no overnight camping is permitted. For overnight camping near Tuttle Creek Lake, visitors should consider Tuttle Creek Cove or Stockdale campgrounds.
Directions
Located below Tuttle Creek Lake Dam on the Big Blue River. From the intersection of US-24 and K-13 at the west end of the dam, access is via K-13.
