About
Outlet Park is a day-use recreation area managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Milford Lake, Kansas's largest man-made lake. Situated just below Milford Dam, the park offers a group picnic shelter that can accommodate up to 75 people, complete with a vault toilet, grill, and nearby amenities including a playground, horseshoe pit, and sand volleyball court. The park is particularly popular among anglers due to its fishing pier with access to Outlet Pond, a productive fishing spot that also attracts diverse wildlife. The Riverwalk Trail provides hiking and biking opportunities from the park. The nearby Milford Nature Center and Fish Hatchery offer additional educational exhibits about Kansas ecosystems. Note: This is a day-use facility only. Overnight camping is not permitted at Outlet Park. For overnight stays at Milford Lake, campers should consider nearby Corps campgrounds such as Curtis Creek, Farnum Creek, or West Rolling Hills.
