Mill Creek at Washington affecting Washington County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Little Blue River near Barnes. * WHEN...Until late Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Lowland agricultural flooding occurs from 15th Road and Zenith Road in Washington County to Waterville in Marshall County. At 17.0 feet, Farm field, 4.5 miles north of Barnes, on the west side of Highway 148 floods north of the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:02 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 16.3 feet. - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage this afternoon to 10.9 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then rise above flood stage tomorrow afternoon to 16.7 feet tomorrow evening. It will fall below flood stage again late tomorrow evening to 4.9 feet Thursday morning then rise again. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

It will then rise above flood stage to 26.1 feet early Monday morning. It will fall below flood stage again early Monday morning. - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.

At 27.5 feet, Area in the vicinity of 19th Terrace and Vista Roads floods. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 24.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 27.5 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. The heavy rainfall has ended, but gauges continue to show water rising. * WHERE...A portion of northeast Kansas, including the following counties, Marshall and Nemaha. * WHEN...Until 300 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1214 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 4 and 6.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Marysville, Sabetha, Seneca, Blue Rapids, Frankfort, Waterville, Centralia, Axtell, Beattie, Corning, Goff, Vermillion, Oneida, Lillis, Baileyville and Woodlawn.
