About

Milford State Park occupies prime waterfront along the 16,000-acre Milford Reservoir, Kansas's largest lake. Located northwest of Junction City off K-57, the park serves as a hub for boating, fishing, and camping in the Flint Hills region. Eight of the park's ten modern cabins are ADA accessible, and the park features over 12 miles of trails including equestrian routes. Five campgrounds provide 254 sites across varied settings. Hickory Hollow offers 31 full-hookup sites (electric, water, sewer) in a wooded environment with dump station access. Cedar Point has 42 utility sites plus 9 primitive sites on the lakefront with a new shower building. Woodland Hills is the largest campground with 30 utility and 60 primitive sites surrounding a renovated shower house. Prairie View provides 20 utility sites with lake views, while Walnut Grove features 30 primitive sites near the personal watercraft launch area. Most sites include fire rings and picnic tables. Rush Creek Marina provides boat slips and daily launches. Camping is limited to 14 consecutive days with a 5-day absence required before returning.
