About

Farnum Creek Campground occupies a scenic spot on the western shore of Milford Lake, the largest man-made lake in Kansas with over 15,700 surface acres and 163 miles of shoreline. Operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, this double-loop campground offers 64 sites ranging from standard nonelectric to electric hookup sites, including five pull-through pads designed for larger rigs. The campground provides solid amenities for a Corps facility: hot showers, restrooms, drinking water, picnic tables at each site, and a dump station. A boat ramp sits directly across from the tent camping area, making it convenient for anglers and boaters. The adjacent Milford Lake supports excellent fishing, swimming, birding, and biking opportunities, with nearly 70% of the surrounding land open to public hunting. Nearby attractions include the Milford Nature Center and Fish Hatchery below Milford Dam, plus a golf course adjacent to the nature center. The town of Milford sits next to the campground for basic supplies.
