About
North Overlook Park is a day-use recreation area located on the shores of Milford Lake, the largest man-made lake in Kansas. The park features two group shelters with picnic tables and grills that can accommodate up to 50 people each, making it suitable for family gatherings, reunions, and group events. Facilities include a playground, baseball field, horseshoe pits, and sand volleyball court within walking distance of the shelters. Vault toilets are available between the two shelters. The park provides good fishing access to Milford Lake, which offers opportunities for various species. This is strictly a day-use facility with no overnight camping permitted. The park closes at 10 p.m. daily. For overnight camping at Milford Lake, visitors should consider nearby campgrounds such as Curtis Creek, Farnum Creek, or East Rolling Hills Park.
