About
Queen Lily Campground is located off Caribou Road along the North Fork Feather River in Plumas National Forest. Situated in the Feather River Canyon at approximately 2,000 feet elevation, the campground offers 12 single-family sites shaded by large oak and pine trees. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring with grill, and bear box for food storage. The campground provides flush toilets and potable water during the operating season. The nearby Feather River supports a healthy population of rainbow trout, making this a favored spot for anglers. The river and surrounding area are also popular for swimming, wading, and tubing. In late summer, the area becomes a destination for blackberry picking. Bears frequent this area, so all food must be stored in the provided bear boxes. The campground operates seasonally from mid-May through late September, with sites available both through Recreation.gov reservations and on a first-come, first-served basis. A maximum stay of 14 days applies, with a limit of 8 people and 2 vehicles per site. OHV use is prohibited in the campground.
