About
North Fork Campground occupies a forested riverside setting in the Feather River Canyon within Plumas National Forest. Located at 2,300 feet elevation near the confluence of Spanish Creek and Indian Creek, the campground provides direct access to the North Fork Feather River. Anglers find healthy populations of rainbow trout, while the river corridor supports swimming, tubing, and late-summer blackberry picking. The campground offers 21 single-family sites suitable for both tent and RV camping. Four sites feature electric hookups ($45/night) while standard non-electric sites run $35/night. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring with grill, and bear-resistant food storage box. Facilities include flush toilets, four showers, potable water, and an RV dump station ($17/use). Selected sites offer enhanced ADA accessibility. Bears frequent the area, requiring proper food storage at all times. Cell phone service is unreliable. Firewood bundles are available from the campground host. The nearest full-service amenities including stores and gas are within 10 miles in communities like Belden, Twain, and Quincy.
