About
Pomeroy Lake Campground sits on the shores of Pomeroy Lake in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, within the Ottawa National Forest. This small, peaceful campground offers 11 drive-in sites along a single loop, each naturally screened with vegetation and equipped with a picnic table, fire ring, and parking spur. The campground accommodates tents, trailers, and motorhomes.
A centrally located double vault toilet and hand pump for potable water serve the campground during the full-service season. Adjacent to the campground is a boat landing providing access to Pomeroy Lake, known for its variety of gamefish. The surrounding forest offers opportunities for hiking, wildlife viewing, and exploring the greater Ottawa National Forest.
The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. Campers can pay onsite using the Recreation.gov mobile app's Scan and Pay feature. The area sees light usage, making it a good option for those seeking solitude.
